The INSECTON Invasion!

No one is quite sure where the Insecton Invaders have come from. They first arrived during a pitched battle between F.R.O.G. Federation forces and RATZI Empire forces for the planet Malathion. It was only quick thinking on the part of Major Frog and his commandos that fought them off before their arrival gave the battle to the Ratzis.

Insectons appear in different force configurations. The most common seen so far have been the scouting squads, apparently sent in to test the waters and see who is doing what. They specialize in buzzing into a battle, stinging their enemy, then buzzing out. Who knows what other forces the Insectons can bring to bear. Only time will tell.

MOUNTED INSECTON SCOUT COMMANDER

The Insecton Scout Commander controls the squad. He is mounted to allow his troops to see him, and this also allows him higher mobility should it prove necessary. Also, all Insectons have the natural ability to fly at the same speed they can MOVE. The commander can also strike out on his own if he chooses. His squad will continue with the same basic orders until he returns.

INSECTON TROOPER.

Insectons do not appear to be the sharpest pencils in the box, at least not their troopers. Acting almost like they have no mind of their own, an Insecton trooper is okay as long as they have a commander to give them orders. Once the commander is removed from battle, the Insecton Troopers are unable to think for themselves. They will continue with the same actions they were doing before the loss of the commander (i.e. if they were attacking in a specific direction, they will continue doing that even if the enemy moves). This rule also holds true if the commander is temporarily not connected to the squad.
